The Cliffrose Gardens are a rare treat to not only Zion Canyon, but to the southwest as well. Featuring a wide variety
of annuals, perrenials, desert plants, flowering shrubs, towering evergreens, and large shade trees.
The Cliffrose grounds are designed to make you feel right at home in your backyard instead of just another place to sleep. Picnic tables, lounge chairs, fire pits, spacious lawns,
and our riverside beach area are all designed to make relaxing outdoors enjoyable, inviting, and relaxing.
Because most of our flower beds are filled with perrenials, annuals, and flowering trees and shrubs everything lies fairly dormant from late November through Late February.
Spring flowers such as daffodils, miniature dutch iris, and flowering fruit trees begin blooming in late February through mid March.
Real spring color begins in late March with tulips of
all sizes, colors, and varieties followed by a delightful display of dutch iris, pink ladies, columbines, carnation poppies, multi-colored iris and numerous varieties of roses that lasts
well into mid May.
Following our spring colors from late May through
early October are full blooms of lillies, hollyhawks, marigolds, petunias, desert willows, desert bird of paradise, coreopsis, carnations, multiple varieties of cannas, daisies, dalias, mexican petunias, and more.
Many flowering annuals continue to bloom well into November with most perrenials finishing up.
Fall colors at the Cliffrose and Zion Canyon usually begin in late October and peak around the second week of November,
sometimes even lasting through Thanksgiving.
Nestled in the heart of flower gardens and large green lawns lies our relaxing and breathtaking pool and spa. Sun bathing by the pool
in the day and stargazing from the hot tub at night are two great ways to experience the surrounding beauty.
